We increase development and capacity building support for Barnet’s vital Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector
About the partnership
Established in 2018 between Young Barnet Foundation, Volunteering Barnet and Inclusion Barnet. Barnet Together is a free capacity-building support service for the borough’s Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector.
It supports local VCFSEs with funding, training, resources and advice, and offers a platform for stronger sector representation, voice and connection. Barnet Together services are available to all members of Young Barnet Foundation, Volunteering Barnet and Inclusion Barnet, with each partner organisation bringing their own specialisms, knowledge and assets.
The Barnet Together Alliance is a long-term, cross sector partnership with the London Borough of Barnet, which increases development and capacity building support for Barnet’s vital Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector, enabling the borough to strengthen, innovate and thrive.
This partnership will help us to create and deliver more borough-wide services and opportunities, based on real partnership and active collaboration.
Young Barnet Foundation, Volunteering Barnet and Inclusion Barnet VCFSE members are part of Barnet Together, benefitting from the full package of support services and helping to strengthen the presence of the sector and partnership working across Barnet.

Free capacity-building support for (VCFSE) Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise organisations across Barnet
Access to funding advice and bid writing support
Training and development opportunities, including governance and leadership
Resources, toolkits and guidance to strengthen organisations
Volunteer recruitment and management support
Networking, events and opportunities to connect with peers
A stronger collective voice for the VCFSE sector in local decision making
